EMERGING PALETTES - 11TH EXHIBITION

7 September - 6 October 2019

Emerging Palettes is an annual art exhibition that provides a platform for Emerging Artists from across the country to showcase their work. This is the 11th edition of the exhibition organized in collaboration with Goethe-Zentrum. Artists who have completed their Master's degree in Fine Arts over the last four years applied to the program. The artists and works were selected based

on skill and creativity by Shrishti Art Gallery, Goethe-Zentrum, and eminent artist Rajeswara Rao.

Twelve artists were selected from more than 150 applications to the program. This year artists have used a wide variety of mediums including goat leather, Jute among others to showcase political, ecological, and other areas of concern for our society. These artists will not only be part of Emerging Palettes 2019, but also 3 artists from this exhibition will have the opportunity

to be part of a three-member group exhibition in the following year at Shrishti Art Gallery. These 3 artists will go on to showcase a larger body of their work.
